Review of Alabama Adventure & Splash Adventure

During the Summer of 2021, we took our rising 6th and 4th grader to Alabama Adventure
Amusement Park in Birmingham, AL.
We had watched a few YouTube reviews of the park and read what precautions
they were taking for the pandemic.
Since I am immunocompromised, we decided to rent a cabana for the entire day just for a
little extra precaution.
The price for the cabana was TOTALLY worth the money! We plan to go back and rent one again!

The park is laid out well to avoid major lines and congestion.
We never had to wait longer than 30 minutes at the
most for any food or attraction.

My husband and my rising 4th grader rode the "double" (2-person) waterslide together and had a blast!

The Wave Pool was pretty intense, which is great for older kids. It might be too strong for toddlers. Teens would definitely love it. I did not get pictures of the lazy river, but it was also awesome! We rode it several times.

The price for the private cabana was totally worth the money. It even came with a safe for valuables.

If you see all the kids waiting underneath this giant bucket of water (bucket not pictured), then you can imagine how much fun they all had every time the bucket tipped over and drenched them! They kept coming back every 5-10 minutes for more!

This wooden coaster was awesome! We didn't have to wait long at all and it was a huge adrenaline rush. All 4 of us rode it, even my skittish child.

The park was super clean, and I mean SUPER CLEAN! There was an older woman picking up trash around the park on a mobilized scooter and someone said she is the owner of the park. I'm not sure if that's true, but I have never been to such a clean amusement park!
