Could not find photo source, but Apologizing is a Skill that requires practice. I'm still working on it.
I am learning that timing is important for most apologies. Apology without rationalization or justification is best, and of course, the receiver must feel in their bones that your apology is sincere.
So be sure it is before you spew out randomness.
John Carlin is a TV news anchor in Virginia who is also living with sarcoidosis. Since he has a journalism background, he decided to start his own podcast to raise awareness for our disease. Check out my episode here. Check out my sarcoidosis story here.
Pitch Counter is a free app (with certain paid features). I screenshot each pitcher's totals and use the Typorama app to add their name and other details like innings pitched and strikeouts.
I experience so much joy each spring potting my flowers for my front porch, back deck, and side yard. I love looking at them each morning and each afternoon when I leave for and return from work. I love the butterflies that visit them and the birds that try to nest in them. When life is crazy and I don't know which end is up, one thing remains and that is my spring potted flowers. They make me think of my father's mother and they make me think of my own mother. Mom and I used to plant flowers every spring together when I was a girl. I will never forget those muddy hands and quiet conversations.
Help me continue to contribute. I made a change once I felt I had nothing more to contribute. ❤️. I am currently reading her new book, Atlas of the Heart, and I have taken SO many notes already! Oh I wish I had known the language of emotions (the topic for that book) before now. I probably could have saved myself and others a lot of heartache.
Penelope & Eloise in Bridgerton. I love BOTH of their characters. Eloise's intelligence and curiosity. Penelope's unrequited love for Colin and her writing abilities. I love Lady Whistledown and what a NAME for a gossip reporter! Love so much of this show! Many hidden lessons.
We are very blessed to have curbside recycling. They pick up everything but glass. And we don't have to separate it. We usually fill 3 rubbermaid tote sizes of recycling each week.
I try to take each son out by himself at least 2-3x a year, more if we can make it happen. They love it, and so do I!
My oldest son likes to shop and grab a good burger. My middle son loves Mexican and something with art, music, or theater. The youngest loves Olive Garden and long walks on the beach (quality time, in other words). Sometimes he just wants to sit somewhere and talk or cuddle on the couch together for a movie at home. ❤️
This cheese is the perfect "size" for a Triscuit or to be eaten on the side with a fresh apple. I never met a cheddar I didn't like, but this is my favorite!
